Last updated: April 14, 2026
SPROKIT, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Blue Delta mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use Blue Delta. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, badge number, department, and role (e.g., police officer, firefighter). This information is used to authenticate you and associate deflection reports with your account.
Profile Photo
You may optionally upload a profile photo from your device's photo library or camera. Photos are stored securely and used solely to display your profile picture within the app. We do not scan, analyze, or share your photos with third parties.
Deflection & Referral Reports
When you submit a deflection or referral report, we collect information you enter including participant names and dates of birth, case numbers, needs and risk assessment responses, encounter location, and program eligibility data. This data is used to facilitate crisis deflection and diversion program tracking.
Location Data
With your permission, we collect your device's location at the time of a report submission to automatically populate the encounter location field. Location is only captured when you are actively submitting a report and is not tracked continuously in the background.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage analytics such as feature usage frequency and app performance data to improve the application. This data is aggregated and not linked to personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate users and provide access to the application
- Process and store deflection and referral reports
- Enable agency administrators to review and manage submitted reports
- Send email notifications to authorized program administrators upon report submission
- Track program metrics and outcomes for participating agencies
- Improve application performance and user experience
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Within Your Agency
Deflection reports you submit are accessible to authorized administrators within your agency or organization.
Service Providers
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database storage, and cloud functions. These providers process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud storage via Firebase, role-based access controls so users only see data relevant to their agency, and two-factor authentication support for added account security.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Deflection and referral reports are retained in accordance with your agency's data retention policies. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@bluedelta.app.
6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy
Blue Delta is intended for use by law enforcement and fire agency personnel and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
